In response to Covid-19 & the re-opening of our studio:
In an effort to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, our massage therapy team has decided to remain temporarily closed until further notice.
We hope to be rendering massage therapy services by the end of July or early August, dependent upon the pandemic data for King County. It has been difficult to determine a specific re-opening date considering information can change daily and the safety of our community is of utmost importance to us. We are committed to keeping our clients and staff as healthy as possible, while considering everyone’s individual needs and circumstances. We are very aware of the demand for massage therapy at this time, however, we are also very aware of the rise and consistency of Coronavirus cases within our community. If you have an urgent medical need for massage therapy, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we can determine whether or not we will be able to accommodate your situation.
We want to continue to be a business that is transparent and keep you informed on where we stand when making these tough decisions. There has been a great deal of the pressure to resume business as usual because of the other businesses opening around us but we hope that you can recognize that we do not have any agenda, other than to care for your health and wellness at all times. We take into account that the majority of these businesses do not have the same working conditions as a massage therapist who renders a service consistently within a 6 feet distance, for a minimum of an hour per service, all while being in an enclosed space. Additionally, we recognize that massage therapy services are and will continue to open up in our area despite these same circumstances, however, we believe as massage therapists we have a professional standard code of ethics to follow - which includes a commitment to the highest quality of care by maintaining a healthy and safe therapeutic environment. We are thankful to be a small business that can come together and make these decisions as a team, rather than a corporate setting, where there is the potential to be put in a situation where we may or may not be comfortable and/or feel morally conflicted with the direction given on how to move forward in a developing pandemic situation. Massage therapy is a profession built on the idea of trust. Trust in you, as our clients and your trust in us, as professionals are vital and these ethical standards are at the center of creating and building that trust. We want to encourage everyone to continue to follow state guidelines like social distancing when possible and to stay home to stay healthy if/or when you have the opportunity. We want to continue to be strong advocates for wellness and believe it is our social responsibility to continue to support our hard-working healthcare professionals and keep everyone in our city in good health.

What is the cancellation policy for massage therapy?
Your treatment is reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the studio's scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a $35 cancellation fee per hour of massage missed. Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a no-show and the therapist will be released unless you call to let us know you are on your way. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an "on call" status and can have traveled to the studio specifically for your service - For these reasons we always compensate our staff for their time.
Do you bill insurance?
We are will be accepting new Premera patients when we re-open on Wednesday, May 6th.
We accept and bill auto and health insurance. We will happily check your policy to see if your insurance plan covers massage therapy and/or chiropractic services.
If you are new to our office we need to verify your insurance coverage before your first appointment. If we are not able to verify coverage we ask that you pay our discounted medical massage appointment rate.
Please note: Your insurance contract is an agreement between you and your insurer, and although we file claims as a courtesy for you, you are responsible for payment of treatments not paid for by your insurance. Although Insurance companies will verify coverage they will not guarantee payment. If your benefits are exhausted, or deductible hasn’t been met, or you see an out of network therapist you are responsible for payment of your session.
Auto Accidents: Auto insurance often covers massage therapy and chiropractic care for injuries sustained from your accident. You will need to open and file a claim with your insurance company. Please reach out to our studio with your claim number, name and number of your insurance company and claim adjuster.
