We are not currently accepting new personal insurance at this time. This includes but is not limited to:

We ARE currently accepting new clients for motor vehicle accidents. If you have an open claim due to a car accident, please contact us by phone or email with your claim information and date of injury. |
Why don't you take insurance?
In the state of Washington, a massage therapist must be individually credentialed with each insurance company. This means that we are unable to cover our therapists under one umbrella business entity. In addition, insurance reimbursement rates have remained the same for many years. Because of this, we are no longer able to provide the level of service you deserve while staying in-network with major insurance companies. We can continue to explain and verify your massage therapy benefits to the best of our ability and can provide you with the details you need to submit and bill on your own. Please inquire within if you are interested in receiving itemized billing receipts for services provided. Can I use my HSA? (Health Savings Account)
Yes! We are happy to store your HSA card as your primary source of payment for massage therapy services. You may or may not be required to submit itemized receipts - this is dependent upon each individual company and plan. HSA funds are not available for use on gratuity. |
Cancellation Policy:
Your treatment is reserved especially for you. Arriving late for scheduled appointments, late-cancellations and skipped appointments have negative impacts on our small business. In order to provide quality service & employ a skilled staff, we need to make sure our team is compensated for every appointment. We value your business and ask that you respect the studio's scheduling policies.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If our studio is closed the day before your session, we ask that you notify us via email at massage@ballardwellness.com. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee. Charges for cancellations are as follows: $50.00 for a 60 minute session, $75.00 for a 90 minute session and $100.00 for a 2-hour session. Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a no-show and the therapist will be released unless you call to let us know you are on your way. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an "on call" status and can have traveled to the studio specifically for your service - For these reasons we always compensate our staff for their time.
